Mbox Pro Driver For Mac 10.12.2

I will just begin with clarifying that I'm new to both this forum, logic, sound cards and in general most music related hardware as well as software. This is my problem. I'm trying to get set up with my new home-studio and these are the things I have and am trying to get to work with each other: MacBook Pro late 2013/early 2014 with OS X 10.9.3 installed. Mbox 2 Pro with the latest MBox 2 drivers (10.3.3) installed. Logix Pro X 10.0.7 A keyboard - Yamaha EX5 with midi-cable plugged in to the MBox from MIDI A Out on the keyboard to the MIDI In on the Mbox. Two speakers - Truth B2031A plugged in with a 6.3mm Instrument/Guitar Cable from the speaker into the Mon Out on the Mbox. The Mbox is connected via Firewire 400 to Firewire 800 adapter - Firewire 800 to Thunderbolt adapter to the computer.

Anyway, you need to download latest 10.3.3 Mbox 2 drivers from Avid site, you should find it easy by searching google with mbox 2 pro drivers. Then after install firmware is recognized BUT. Drivers are not working fully ok, for example when you unplug Mbox and plug it back in, system does not recognize it anymore and you need to restart computer again. But however despite of this, actual drivers and mbox are working ok even there is this specific flaw.

I have had MBox2 and Garageband/Logic for 3 years, running on OS 10.6.8. I can tell you it was a nightmare! Whenever I plug out usb or microphone, it was not recognized anymore, I had to restart or plug in and out endlessly, until it is recognized. Midi keyboard is rarely recognized.

The work-flow is terrible. I wish somebody told me about this before, it would spare me endless frustration and endless lost hours trying to figure out what is not working and why. Shame should be on Avid (and Logic) for not disclosing this anomaly clearly.

BTW, I asked this question on this forum and elsewhere, and have posted my set up clearly, nobody cared to tell me this. PS: Not only I have problems with Logic, but even regular youtube or anything. So, it seems to me that MBox2 is actually a terrible piece of hardware. I think I have the same problem! While creating a new track, I changed the output device to 'built-in Output,' but now I can not change it back. All I can do now is create External MIDI tracks - I can no longer create the other (Software Instrument, Audio, Drummer, or Guitar and Bas).

I changed the Mac System Preferences to Avid Mbox Mini, and in the Logic Pro X Audio Preferences I changed Output Device and Input Device to Avid Mbox Mini. Does anyone know what is wrong and how I can get to record instruments again??
