You didn't mention what Mac you are using, but keep in mind it only works on an Intel Mac. If you have a G5 or older you can't run Windows on it at all. If you do have an Intel Mac but don't have Leopard, you can buy either Parallels or VMWare Fusion.

They let you run Windows XP or Vista as a virtual machine from right inside OS X (Tiget or Leopard). Since it's not running native on the hardware it's not quite as stable as Boot Camp when running high-graphic games and such, but it's pretty great.
