Mac Vba Emulator With Cheats

Im using mac osx and i go to enter cheats using VBA emulator but i dont get how to enter thm correctly. When i click gameshark or codebreaker i have no idea what to do. VisualBoyAdvance (VBA) is a free software (GNU GPL) emulator targeted for the Game Boy, Super Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance handheld game consoles sold by Nintendo.

Okay, a lot of people cant figure out how to use cheats on VBA MAC. I cant either. I do know that for gameshark codes, gameshark codes dont work.

Use action Replay. That is all I know. I cant figure it out - you put the codes in, start up emerald, and nothing happens. Is there a key that activates it or something? As said earlier any help is appreciated.

I think that, you know how you get the box with the lines? Well, I think that you ener the master code (i used emerald) in the first four lines, removing the spaces between the parts of each line.

So, you have four lines filled with the master code. I believe, from there, you hit okay, open it up again, delete the master code, and enter the other codes. I tried it, tho, and it didnt work.

I know that there aren't many mac users out there. Pokemon emulator download for mac. But there still are and i believe we should get the some amount of respect as the PC users. For the Mac when you open up VBA it asks you to specify what game you would care to play by finding it on the computer. If you click cancel it just leaves the application on with no game playing. When this happens you can click on the options menu from the main bar and go down to add codebreaker cheats, and add gameshark cheats. Then when you choose either of them it comes up with a little menu that lets you input lines of code (the cheats) and then you click ok.

I have tried inputing the master code along with some other cheats but when you run the game they don't seem to work. Another factor could possible be that when you play the game the option to input codebreaker or gameshark cheats is disabled.

Again any ideas or answers are welcome as help. I had already posted this but for some reason it didn't show up. Anyways I have found out how to use cheats on a mac.

What you do is open up VBA without a rom playing. Then you go to the options menu and go down to codebreaker/gameshark codes. You click on that then a widow will apear.

There you can enter your cheats and once you click OK then you can open up a rom. Once open the game will apply the cheats by itself. I am almost certain you only need to enter the master code once. Then the rest of the time the game that you are cheating will be open to all cheats. I had already posted this but for some reason it didn't show up.

Advancing through the game gives you the option of customizing and upgrading your fighters. The learning curve is steep at first but you will learn and adjust accordingly. Equipment can be improved with new armor plating and special moves can be learned to deal extra damage.

I am trying to use cheats on Pokemon Emerald. Somehow, this method(your method) doesn't work. These are all different ways I have tried that didnt apply the cheats: -Open the cheat window, start the rom, fill in the cheats, hit ok when playing -Open cheat window, fill in cheats, ok, open rom -Open cheat window, fill in master code, ok, open cheat window, fill in new code, ok, repeat steps 4-6 for more codes, ok, open rom Now, maybe they are working but I don't know how to activate the cheats. If somebody has gotten a cheat to work with emerald, ON MAC, please, post step by step, click by click instructions, and give us cheats YOU USED! Thanks again.
